This is not an acceptable workaround for a feature that we have all paid extra for. This has now been an issue for at least 5 months with no resolution in sight.

Was there ever a real resolution (not temporary workaround) to this issue? Thanks!

We are in need of a fix or reasonable secure workaround for this ASAP. Not having CRM appointments synch with Outlook is a serious company workflow issue. We purchased the Outlook/ M365 synch module and it simply does not work any longer. We have also updated our support subscription.
Please advise.
Thank you!

Thank you for posting this.
Unfortunately we do not currently have any updates regarding the 365 calendar plugin. You may be aware of it but anyway - you should be able to sync appointments directly with Outlook, including when Outlook is based on 365, and also use a syncing utility that syncs for all users automatically. Indeed, it's not the same as the 365 plugin but it should still be useful.
In case something does not work in your system with this please email us directly to support@, we'll be happy to assist.
Hope this helps.

So we have decided to just use the local Outlook sync capability for now. However it is not syncing all appointments. Recurring appointments or meetings are randomly populating in Outlook. Some are there, some are not. Please advise. Thank you!
UPDATE: I had to run a sync all (multiple times in order for it to populate correctly. I am hoping that is not the case for regular use.

Thanks for posting and for the follow up update. Well, the syncing logic of the direct 365 plugin and the direct sync with Outlook, even when it's backed by 365, is exactly the same.
Recurring appointments added in RangerMSP do sync to the Outlook/365 calendar, updates to instances of such recurring appointments in Outlook/365 are synced back to RangerMSP.
Recurring appointments originally added in Outlook/365 are not synced with RangerMSP as the recurrence settings there may be very different than the one supported in RangerMSP.
Long story short, functionality is the exact same with the syncing logic, when it comes to recurring ones - please add them in RangerMSP.
Thanks for bringing up this point. Hope this helps!

Thank you for the very fast reply!
Unfortunately, it does not address our actual issue. Items that are created in Ranger (even recurring) populate local Outlook randomly (i.e. recurring daily appointment in Ranger, syncs to Outlook (maybe Monday, Wednesday, Thursday one week- then everyday the next week, then Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday of the next) unless I "Synchronize All" a few times. THEN they eventually populate correctly. Putting this here in case anyone else has the issue- it will make us all better ;)
Thanks!

Thank you for posting this.
It is possible that there is a local problem syncing with Outlook.
We want to review your app log files in our lab, hopefully something related is logged there. Please zip the \Logs folder and share it with us over email/dropbox/drive/etc.
It may also help if you can provide a few very specific examples for appointments that did not show as expected - if possible include such information in your email to us.
Hope this helps.

I have been able to pilot the Sync with Outlook (locally) feature and it works fine for now. I was setting up another of our users yesterday, however he contunues to recieve the errror in the screenshot below.
The message is received when attempting to switch from "Sync with Office 365 over the Web" to "Sync with Outlook". It does not permit the switch to Outlook (locally)
Please advise. Thank you!

I was doing Search for API Version V2 Deprecated. Found that our software need to convert from old protocol to New Microsoft Graphic API version. Is that true? Here is the link. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/pr...tlook-rest-api
Thanks

Thank you for asking. As per our email to you, at one point the integration with MS 365 here has gradually stopped working, only to some of our customers and sometimes only to some users at the customer site. It's probably affecting many by now. It happened once in the past and the MS fixed it, however, this hasn't been the case this time. Unfortunately there aren't any new updates here and our recommendation at this time is to use Outlook sync instead, optionally with the syncing utility that syncs for all users. In regards to your question about having to rewrite it all using another API, maybe a complete API rewrite may help, in any case I will share it with the relevant people. Thanks.
