How can I tell RangerMSP that an employee is unavailable during specific time periods? I have an employee not available for one week and want to prevent him from being dispatched. -- * Question received by email and shared here for the benefit of our users. |

Answer
You should create recurring appointment for this employee and title it "Vacation". It will then will be displayed in Dispatcher / Calendar and it will look as if they are fully busy so the dispatcher will know not to schedule anything for this technician. You can also decide on a specific color that represents a vacation/blocked-time and have everyone on your team select such a color for the time-blocking-appointments. |
