RangerMSP User Question*

I wonder why I get all these e-mails when I am editing or creating tickets.
I thought it only would appear e-mails if there where other users that did edit "my" tickets?

Answer

You should only receive notifications and alerts for actions performed by other users and never about updates you perform yourself.

Please open the Employees Window (using the left side pane) and verify that your email address is not listed under another user employee record.

Another possible cause for receiving too many alerts is that one of the Employee email addresses is used as a distribution list and your email address is a part of this list - This way every email sent to such distribution list will be forwarded to you as well. In general using distribution list as employee email address in RangerMSP is not recommended and may cause various issues.
