In regards to activity templates.
After we apply an activity template to a ticket, and CommitCRM then syncs with outlook, we have the following issue; The subjects in the tasks folder in outlook don't eaisly distinguish themselves between one another. e.g. We see in outlook tasks the following; Surname, First Name - First Name Surname, <PHONE NUMBER> 0500-5644 Surname, First Name - First Name Surname, <PHONE NUMBER> 0500-5644 Surname, First Name - First Name Surname, <PHONE NUMBER> 0500-5644 Surname, First Name - First Name Surname, <PHONE NUMBER> 0500-5644 Surname, First Name - First Name Surname, <PHONE NUMBER> 0500-5644 Therefore we have to go into each entry to see what the task is for We would prefer and would find a lot easier to see the following for example; First Name Surname - 0500-5644: create computer folder First Name Surname - 0500-5644: register warranty First Name Surname - 0500-5644: enter in CommitCRM assets First Name Surname - 0500-5644: receive deposit First Name Surname - 0500-5644: invoice customer Does anyone have any suggestions or different ways that you do this? Hi Steve,
I see what you mean - when creating activities from a template, you can have the account information added to the task or appointment either at the beginning of the description, or after the description. In case you add it at the beginning, all the tasks and appointments for this customer will start with the same text (the customer details). The system doesn't have an option of a customized format for the account information, and it always adds all of this information in the ticket or appointment description. You may consider adding it at the end of the description, so it will not appear at the beginning of the text in the list. This way it will be easy to distinguish and yet you will have all the account information in there. I hope this makes sense. Sheli |
