Is there any way that changes to this field can trigger the audit log message like changes to the status field does?

Since Ramond opened the can of worms about the "status ext" field... we have completely changed our workflow around it. It's fantastic. Only problem is there is no audit trail on this field.

This has really got me thinking about auditing in general. I really wish I could see an audit trail on ANY changes (who, what, when) on any field in the system.

Anyway, the last bit is a stretch, I'm sure. The Status Ext field would be a fantastic place to start though. :)
