Please update us on whats going on with updates/cloud

Have been a long standing user or RangerMSP back from the old CommitCRM days but can say with other people we are all frustrated by the lack or updates on where we stand and this upcoming cloud edition which we have no information on and seems endless "COMING SOON" train

Please I have seen many software companies take over from original developers and change or to try to mold in their own vision just to destroy the product which people loved and what drove them to the software in the first place.

Please be more open on whats going on and also start sharing screen shots and allow us to make comments and inputs on what use the users would like see or need.

Also with a lot or RMM;s out there running our business its important to you get integrations into the various RMM systems early or you may find people will jump ship if not already before you even get your new cloud system off the ground or out there.

The cloud edition is progressing well, though as with any major project, it takes time. On RMM, we’re aligned. We’re building the foundation now so that adding integrations with those tools (and others) will be much simpler going forward.

You’re right that we could do a better job sharing updates, and we’ll make an effort to improve on that.

I am also very interested to know the status of this cloud edition, one year has passed without any new updates. As a user who has also been with the software since CommitCRM era, I think we all deserve some screen shots of the new product.

Thanks for posting. Your feedback is clear and much appreciated. The cloud edition has already reached production maturity and is actively being used. While it doesn’t include every feature and module available in the on-premise, self-hosted edition, it does offer a solid and growing set of capabilities. +1 Me too. Long time customer, still use RangerMSP V22.x but bored with the legacy interface. Stopped maintenance a few years ago due to lack of development. I would like to see the beta to help me with my decision to resume maintenance or ..... by the end of this year.

+1. Long-time customer as well, looking to make a change to the cloud soon. The lack of information from Ranger on the cloud version might leave them out of the decision process.

True, it has been. Thanks for asking. Most of our R&D resources are currently invested in the RangerMSP Cloud Edition, which, as an active on-prem customer, you can migrate to at no additional cost. The cloud edition has progressed significantly and now includes numerous new features and options. We expect that once the cloud edition reaches a more mature stage, we’ll be able to allocate additional resources to the on-prem version as well.

I just opened a new thread about this, but my company created MSP Time Engine due to some of the complaints in this thread. Check it out if you are interested in a modern web app companion for Ranger. I would also love to know more about Ranger cloud or future plans for updates to RangerMSP on premise.

Hey guy this really is getting beyond a joke, I feel like we are never going to see this online version or does it actually exist?, i feel you are being very disrespectful to ALL the users who have previously bought or supported CommingCRM/RangerMSP.

The lack of feedback is really poor and sad as I an other seem to now been forced to look at alternatives as we just are not getting the support/feedback one would expect, yes I have stopped my support payment (temporary) but only cause there was not development or updates for it, i rather put the money in the lottery thinking I might at least get the chance of getting something back for my money.

C'mon guys lift your game get cracking with the updates and feedback and you should be releasing weekly updates/snapshots on the development of the online version, this is just no good enough i feel from other users that have contacted me your loosing both reputation and possible clients du this lack of interaction from you.

Anyway I m sick of checking these forums to seeing nothing for month on end its starting to look depressing to me.

Thank you for the additional feedback. We do understand the frustration around wanting more visibility.

Just to clarify, the cloud edition is already in use by active customers who have moved over from the self-hosted version. We are currently working with customers individually to make sure the cloud edition fits their requirements and usage before moving them over.

The migration process is being handled carefully to ensure customers have the right setup and their data is migrated correctly, rather than simply moving everyone over without reviewing their needs first.

The cloud edition is also under continuous development. Existing processes and features are being improved based on feedback from customers already using the platform, and additional capabilities are being added as the product continues to evolve.

For customers with an active support plan, the cloud edition is currently available as part of the service, with no additional cloud subscription fee. We work with each customer to review their requirements and determine the best approach for their transition.

We also take the point about communication. We will try to do a better job of sharing more updates and giving the community better visibility into the progress.
