We've been using CommitCRM for a couple of years now, and we have a lot of old tickets with the type 'General'. We're looking to differentiate new data from old data, and we want to make a new type to denote that a ticket was made with our newer SOP.
I know that it's possible to add and remove ticket types, but is it possible to make a new ticket type the default for all future tickets? Thanks for your help. |

Yes, you can.
While in the client app right click the label of the Type field and select Field Settings..., a window will open - navigate to the 'Field Bahavior' tab. At the bottom of this type you'll find an option to select a default value for this field. Change it to the new type value that wish to use as the default and save. Then, restart all RangerMSP clients and server side services for the change to affect everyone immediately. Hope this helps! |
