Tip: Drag & Drop Emails Directly From Outlook

An email message in Outlook can be dragged from Ouאlook and filed in RangerMSP without having to save the email first.

For example, in order to attach the email to an Opportunity, open the Opportunity details window in RangerMSP, drag the email message from Outlook and drop it on the Opportunity window in RangerMSP. Done! As a result a 'New Document' window will open and the email will get filed under the Sales Opportunity in RangerMSP.

The same can be used with filing email messages under Accounts, Tickets, Assets, Contracts and more.

It would also be a great feature to be able to CREATE a ticket or opportunity, etc by simply drag/dropping an email from Outlook to say, the create ticket icon.

Thanks for suggesting this. For what it worth, you can create a new ticket or opportunity directly from the 'New Document' window that opens when you drop the email - use the the plus (+) icon that is a part of the Ticket/Opportunity selection field. The email then will be saved as a document under newly created ticket/opportunity. I understand that it isn't exactly what you suggested, but it may nevertheless be useful.
