Can we customize the customers login access to RangerMSP, i.e. restrict access to the assets tab?

Answer

Sure, you can control what customers can access by customizing the privilege groups for Customer Web Users. This can be accessed from File > User and Privileges > Customer Privileges - For Web User .

You can create your own custom privileges group and remove the permission for customers to access Assets. Then you should select this new privileges group for the relevant Customer Web users that you want to restrict.

Last note - after customizing privilege groups please RESTART 'RangerMSP Web Interface' service or IIS (if used) in order for the changes to apply immediately.
