I was wondering if it is possible to sync CommitCRM with Quickbooks "in reverse". So that if I open a new ticket in CommitCRM from a customer who walks in the door and that customer has never been here before, is there anyway to ensure that customers information gets sent over to Quickbooks?

Does this happen when letting QB generate an invoice? If not, would it be possible in the future to allow CommitCRM to send all new customer information back over to QB for new customers? Or is there/will there be anyway for CommitCRM recognize when it has new customers that QB does not have, and allow for syncing between the two then?

Just curious.

Thanks!

Hi,

If your creating an invoice for a customer that has not previously been linked to QuickBooks, then the system will suggest to you to link the account during the last invoicing stage.

However, if the account has already been linked to QuickBooks, and since updated, then the system will note that the account has not been synced since at the bottom of the invoicing screen during the last step of invoicing.

Resyncing your data with QuickBooks can only be done on an acocunt by account basis, since the QuickBooks API does not support pushing multiple accounts in the same transaction; however, if syncing the data from QuickBooks to RangerMSP, then you can batch import all changes made in Quickbooks in a single process.
