    Just wanted to see how everyone was doing with this global pandemic.

      Chaos, but we're making it. Its like double the workload with slower home internet and crappier laptops.

        How the issue is billing. We charge per device, but clients think its "per employee". Wasn't an issue before said employees were working from home.

        Is everyone billing for supporting the additional home computers or doing it for free?

          I have had customers offer to pay for the additional computers, and customers that haven't. For the moment, I am just allowing the additional devices until everything calms down to see where we are at.

            We are just covering user's home computers under the contract during the pandemic. All of our remote users are just using RDP or a screen share service like LogMeIn, so no work or data is on that home computer. We are covering anything that has to do with connecting to the office computer. Other issues on the home computers, like a virus or malware infection from one of the kids, is out of scope and billable.
