System reports currently cannot be removed from the available tickets reports list. As you mentioned, you can add custom reports to this list (make sure the custom report have the word "Form" in their name). You can also set a default reports which will be used when clicking the Print or Print Preview button (rather than select from the list). To define the default report for printing, go to Tools > Options > Tickets and select the desired report in the "Default Detailed Report" part.
