Account Creation - Set Mandatory fields

Hi Guys, is there currently a way to force people to include certain details when creating an account? in my case i wish to force all employees to enter the region code.

Currently there is no option to define such mandatory fields. We already have this request on file and I will add your vote for it.

I would also like to have certain fields to be filled in before a ticket can be closed.

We really need mandatory fields in tickets AND accounts.

...and separate first and last name fields too. :)
