We have a service contract like this - standard service rate $X is charged during regular business hours between 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday. When any service is performed outside of the regular business hours, overtime service rate $Y will be billed.

In an instance where we begin a service during business hours and is prolonged into non-business hours. How does RangerMSP handle billing in this situation?

In order to handle billing for such a contract, you can either create separate Items for overtime services where the existing items are used for business items work.

Another option is to use a separate Contract when adding a Charge for overtime services.

In case the job is spread over business and non-business hours, the technician should add separate Charges and select the dedicated Item (or another Contract) depending on the method you will decide to use.

Hope this helps.
