I need to export all customer account primary details (i.e. not secondary contacts) to csv so I can import them into Xero as customer accounts.
I had assumed it would be easy to modify a report to print to a csv file but can only get them to print to PDF. Presumably plenty of others have had to do this... some suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance Rob |

Thank you for posting this.
You can export Accounts right from the Accounts Window. In order to hide Secondary Contacts, you should click the [all types] drop down and uncheck the Show secondary contacts in the drop-down list. Then you can export the listed Accounts using Table Options > Export Table Data in the pop up menu. The recommended way is to export to Excel and then save the file as CSV or to any other format that Excel save-as option supports. Hope this helps. |
