We recommend that you first read about starting a new financial year on the RangerMSP-QuickBooks manual, under Appendix > Starting a new Financial Year. As mentioned there, you can choose to either start working with a new company file, or close your books at year-end, but keep using the same QuickBooks company file.
When it comes to the RangerMSP-QuickBooks Link, we recommend using the second option - closing your books at year-end and continue using the same company file. This way you will be able to keep all the links to existing Items and contacts in the company file. HTH Neta |
