RangerMSP User Question*

Is it possible to create new tickets from email notification messages that are sent automatically by different devices or RMM systems? And if so, can the new ticket be linked to an Asset in case the email contains the asset/device name or ID?

Yes, it is possible to convert such 'Automated Emails' into new service tickets under Accounts in RangerMSP.

In addition, starting with RangerMSP 10, when using the Email Connector Automated Emails it is possible to add an Account detection rule based on Asset details found on the email subject line.

The newly created Ticket will link to both the Account and the detected Asset.
