Hi everybody,

I am wondering is it possible to create an automated email which will warn you about the warranty expiration date in Warranty field (in Assets) " FLDASTWARREXPDATE ".

The mail should go to the predefined address 60 days before the date in the Warrranty field.
Is there any other way to link the date in Warranty Exp. Date field to any kind of email alert?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Thank you for posting this.

While many different email alerts are sent automatically with RangerMSP's Alerts Server module, unfortunately at this time there is no option to automatically generate email alerts based on Asset Warranty Expiration date ( API may be of help here, in case you are interested in developing a small program that does this).

Besides, you can add a Task under the Asset Pending tab, set its date to Warranty expiration date and set the reminder '60 days before' so it will display a pop message for it.

You can also use Activity Templates for Assets to created a template with such a Task.

Hope this helps.
