It would be nice if we can create tickets and easily click a check box that said "Quiet" or something that would not send end user email notifications.

Currently we have to click on the email list and remove people.

Is there an easier way i dont know about?

What you do is right, you remove the customer from being a recipient under this ticket resulting with the customer never receiving any email updates on that ticket. I will take a note for our team to review whether this can be achieved with less clicks. Thanks!

If you are going to add them back in you need to wait for a few min. if you do it to quickly they will get an email ;)

Often we merely want to avoid the " a ticket has been opened" email but we still need to communicate with them through the ticket.

Make ticket, remove recipient, close ticket. Remember to go back to ticket later and re-add recipient is tedious and error prone...

So if you're going to add check boxes, add 2. One to suppress "initial notification" and one to suppress all notifications.
