Is there any way to have "internal" and "external" notes on Tickets. I know there is this option at the accounts level and contracts but what about internal notes on an individual ticket?

We would like to use the email connector but right now we keep all of our notes for a specific ticket in the Notes section which is visible to clients. Not all of our notes should be visible to clients.

Is there an internal notes section for Tickets
or
is there a better way of documenting work on an individual ticket so that the client does not see it?

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for posting this.
The RangerMSP system comes with the option to create new tabs and fields that will not be visible to your customers. This should provide you with the privacy you're looking for.

We suggest creating an Internal Notes tab, with a Text only field (Make sure to set the length value to a high value so that you can type a lot of characters; I.e. 20000-30000 char.)

Once you add the field, it'll still look like a small sized field; however, that can be adjusted by right clicking the new internal notes field and selecting Field Settings (Look for the Height and Width fields).
