Would it be possible to implement an numbering system to the Knowledge Base? It would be much easier to reference a particular KB article if they had unique identifiers.

Each Knowledge base article does have a unique identifier. It is called Record ID and it can be search by (select to search by it from the drop down on the search window). While it's not a number it is a unique identifier. You can access it from the Edit tab, right click the Record ID button at the bottom to Copy it to clipboard or click the button to display it.

Hope this helps.

Hi Dina,

Thanks for that info. While it is useful, it's not that simple. A simple six digit number that is displayed in an obvious place would be much more useful.

I would agree with Nick, we use KB articles frequently and this would be helpful.
