Hi,

Is there any support material available for using the DBChart option when designing custom reports? I'm trying to create som esimple charts to show things like number of tickets opened and closed over a month or a few months, tickets by priority and possibly tickets closed within a certain time period (SLA).

Thanks,

Nick

Hey, that's a great idea. I'd be interested to know if you can figure that out! Might play with it myself! ;)

Hey Nick,

Thanks for this question.

The DbChart which is built-in into the Report Designer is quite limited and we do not recommend on trying to work with it (we do offer some system reports which use it but it requires some code manipulation in the background).

The best way to create such charts is to export your ticket list to Excel, and use Excel charts. This works great and will give you very flexible options. You can also use pivot tables which are extremely helpful.

Click here for more details on exporting data from RangerMSP.
