Hi. We have been setting up appointments with our customers via Outlook's calendar. We then email them a request to accept this appoint request with a reply or a decline. We would like to do the same through the Dispatcher window when a ticket and an appointment is created. The question here is, how can the CRM handle emailing out the appointment to the customer and then receiving the acceptance or decline message back from them in the manner that Outlook does. This way, if a customer replies and requests another date, the dispatcher will be notified and can make the necessary changes.

Hi,

We've received a few requests to add ICS functions into RangerMSP in order to ease these types of flows which require customer feedback in order to schedule the appointment.

I've copied your comments to the existing feature request, as well as added your vote.

For now, we suggest creating the appointment in as you have until now, and managing your attendance notices in MS Outlook. The appointment will be synced from MS Outlook to RangerMSP, and updated if any changes to the appointment are made.

This way, if you need to make any changes to the RangerMSP appointment in MS Outlook, you won't need to go and RangerMSP that change to the appointment in RangerMSP, since the RangerMSP Outlook Sync will update the appointment that was created when the MS Outlook appointment was created.

Let us know if you have anymore questions on this topic.

Regards,

Sherry
