When a restore is required, simply restore all files from your backup. If you need to do a complete server backup, restore the entire RangerMSP server folder with all sub folders to the same location as before. If you have a data backup only (i.e. the RangerMSP\Db and the RangerMSP\DbSys folders) restore all files for these folders. RangerMSP will now be ready for you at the exact point to when the backup was done.

Note: To be on the safe side, do not delete or overwrite existing files but rather move them to another location before extracting all files from the backup.

By default these are the subfolders under the <server>\RangerMSP folder:

Client, DB, DbSys, Filters, Help, Import, Lastver, ShellG, Templates, ThirdParty, TmpRangerMSP, Utils and WebInterface
