How am I supposed to make sure all CommitCRM sessions have been terminated?

You should ask users to log out and you're done. The upgrade program will identify when all users are out and only then proceed. In regards to the server side services, you can leave the running, the upgrade program will sync with them so they will not interrupt the upgrade process.

We are in multiple offices across the city and some people from home. Am I to call every store and every tech and tell them to log out?

There has to be an easier way.

Can we send messages to logged in user inside CommitCRM? Something that says, system maintenance at 18:30, please save your work and log out by then?

Then boot people from the system at 18:30?

I restart the Advantage Database Server immediately before the update - and that does it for me. Of course that only works if you use the SQL version though.

That boots everyone out? I guess it would since they couldn't connect. I still would like to give them some sort of popup to let them know.
