How would I create an export template which creates a text file in a designated folder and be able to run it from the "command line" manually or on a scheduler?

Is there a way to use functions in an export template. eg I have a date field but I wish to format it in the export as yyyymm or any other format?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for posting this.
The system does not support automated export processes; however, using ODBC, you can create a script that access the RangerMSP database over ODBC, and query the information you need from the system, and dump it into a file.

Using Excel; you should be able to reformat the date fields to display in the order that's most comfortable for you (RangerMSP only supports switching the positions between MM & DD).

For more information see ODBC Data Retrieval.

Let us know if this helps.

Regards,
Bracha
