RangerMSP User Question*

Our support team consists of 8 techs. All techs need the ability to create charges and update existing tickets assigned to themselves.

Is there a way to prevent other users from editing tickets assigned to me - yet allow them to update tickets (assigned to me) via charges when they work on the ticket?

Answer

Yes, such users should be assigned with read-only permission to access other employees tickets. They will still be able to view such tickets in the list, see their details and add charges under them, but - they will not be able to edit any of the ticket record details itself.

The privilege groups can be modified under File > Users and Privileges:

After modifying the group settings it will affect starting the next time they log into RangerMSP.
