Delete Duplicates from my CSV file

I am importing my contacts from another system. Howevr i have lots of duplicates. Whats best way to remove the duplicate lines ?

In RangerMSP you can merge two Accounts into one. However, if you have plenty of duplicates maybe it would be easier to un-import the records (pick that option from the menu), remove the duplicates at the data source (e.g. Excel, etc.) and then import a clear list.

In any case, with mass imports and un-imports - please take a backup before each such step.

Maybe try sorting the list by name in Excel...
