We set up on our website a link for our clients to access the ticket system to add tickets. How do I set it up so I can get notification of a new ticket when it is generated?

You can set the system to send alerts to a predefined list of recipients upon a new Ticket which is created via the Customers' Web Interface. Please follow the instructions in the Web Interface manual under the Tips&Tricks section to set this up (it's second item in the section).
