Just hoping you have notifications on for this thread still.
We have been using Maxfocus managed online backup and are now looking at the stand alone Max Backup. There doesn't seem to be much documentation available for it here - have you found any or did you have to make it up as you went along?
Thanks

Re: Cloud Backup Service with Reseller option
We use Syncrify ISP on a server with NAS (mirrored drives). Need more storage, just add another NAS drive. Has version controls. Can encrypt for those that need it. Clients can restore their own files if necessary. (We don't use this option)
ISP License is by user and can have as many computers backed up as you want for the user. You pay based on the number of end-clients not machines. This means that if a user has three machines, you only pay once for that user. It does not matter how much your charge them for your services.

From their website:
The ISP edition is designed for companies that want to provide backup service to their clients using Syncrify. The ISP edition includes everything in Syncrify Professional with following differences.
This is similar to the Professional edition with bundled pricing - you purchase a bundle of 100 licenses together.
Includes branding for both client and server allowing you to put your company name and logo.
Allows integration with a relational database.

We also use Event Sentry to stop Crypto from ripping thru servers. Monitors file access and can shut down the network if too many files accessed in set time. Has been very successful for small businesses.
Monitored backups are $49.00 per month (Emails reports for each backup every day)
ROI is about 3 clients for a year. ISP 100 users is $1499.00
Legal firms like it because they know who has their data and it is local.
Disasters are easy to manage as data is local and transportable.

Re: Cloud Backup Service with Reseller option
I resell Crashplan Business. Crashplan charges $10 per month per device and I bill my clients $15 per month.

Re: Cloud Backup Service with Reseller option
We have just started a trial of syncrify. Doesn't seem to produce the speeds we want, but should be file for regular file backups.
