New quote to existing ticket

I have spent the last couple of hours trying to figure this out. I have a ticket and I have a quote and I need to link the two together. There are about a dozen places on the CommitCRM website that say this is possible but all I can find as far as instructions is how to start a quote from within a ticket. There is a forum post from a couple of years ago that says that linking an existing ticket to an existing quote would be in the next release and that was two releases ago.

Can anyone tell me how to do it or at least tell me it was never implemented so I can stop wasting my time.

Sure, you can link existing Quote to Ticket, Contract or Asset. Please click the arrow shown on the screenshot and click 'Select':
