I'm trying to create a new e-mail template which is used for when a new ticket is logged / created which instead of just including the ticket number contains the "description" also.
I've tried locating the data field for this information but so far have had no joy. |

Thank you for posting this.
While editing the Email Template subject line - we recommend you to add a field 'Description - First paragraph only' that will add a first line of the Ticket description to the email subject. Once the template is ready, you should select to be used as 1. An auto-response for new Tickets created from customer emails. You should run <server>\RangerMSP\Server\ServerConfig.exe utility and select the template under 'Email Connector' tab. 2. An email notification sent to customers about new tickets created in application - In RangerMSP application under Tools > Options > Alerts to Customers tab. Hope this helps. |
