I'm trying to create a new e-mail template which is used for when a new ticket is logged / created which instead of just including the ticket number contains the "description" also.

I've tried locating the data field for this information but so far have had no joy.

Thank you for posting this.

While editing the Email Template subject line - we recommend you to add a field 'Description - First paragraph only' that will add a first line of the Ticket description to the email subject.



Once the template is ready, you should select to be used as

1. An auto-response for new Tickets created from customer emails. You should run <server>\RangerMSP\Server\ServerConfig.exe utility and select the template under 'Email Connector' tab.

2. An email notification sent to customers about new tickets created in application - In RangerMSP application under Tools > Options > Alerts to Customers tab.
