I've looked closely into TigerPaw and ConectWise. I've actually bought CW, and may return it (it was $15k to do what CommitCRM does for $2k). It has some serious bonuses, but also some things that...

NOD32's been excellent for detection and run speed - not as sure how it works in a corporate environment, but we used it as our primary virus remover on the tech benches here for years.

I don't agree with the other two posts.
Windows 7 is excellent. We've been on it since RC1, converted our office and even our tech benches to it.
Don't upgrade. Fresh install, and watch what Vista...

Stay away from CA (Computer Associates)'s ITM or consumer. We've been behind them for years, good pricing (as low as $10 a machine), but the reliability of their deployment tools/management is...

Okay,
I run a small shop with 4 guys. We have our 4 licenses. Every now and then CommitCRM thinks we're running more somehow, and shuts down a client.
I don't have a problem with the idea, I...

lopejoy - We just went with Connectwise (more expensive than TP, but it does WAY more, and it's also a slicker interface. I almost bought TP, but spending a day with CW demos, I'm sold).
We still...

We use NovaNet - And it's ancient, but we put a lot of $$ into it years ago for the licenses, and it still runs on 2003 clients, so what the heck - We'll milk it and save up some cash for...

That's a very complex question - I've been struggling with it as well. I know that lawyers on retainer will often give a 10-15% discount for being paid in advance, which would also result in a 0% -...

What's the way to get around this? I often will work from say 6pm - 3:38 am for a client, and I can't enter the time into CommitCRM because it says "End time is Prior to Start Time"
Can it just not...

Oh, and to the CommitCRM team response:
Yes, you guys do a great job, and CommitCRM is excellent for what it is - but it's a bit small. Your support and development is great, but I sometimes wonder...
