View history audit

Can we see a detailed audit of transactions by user by day.

Yes, you can see this from the History window (click the History icon on the left pane). In this window you can view the audit log for a specific day and filter by user, type, etc. This shows you all the activity for the day, including tickets, history notes, documents, updates in tickets, etc.
