View Full Version : Customer Web new ticket interface add fields

Many times my customers will enter an issue and leave out pertinent information. This prompts a call to clarify.
I have added a custom Tab in the ticket creation interface and wonder if I can also display those fields for entry in the Web interface when they are filling it in to submit to me.

Custom fields are available for staff, though not for customers using the Customer Web Portal. We will take note of your question.

For what it's worth - you may consider using Ticket Templates.

The template can be configured to be available in the Customer Web Portal.

You can create a Ticket Template with the description that will include the information you want to gather while the customer creates a Ticket as shown on the sample below.

Customers will then use the arrow to drop the relevant template based on their request.
