We are going to be upgrading to a new 2016/2019 Server. Are there any specific instructions that we need to follow to migrate our CommitCRM to the new server?

*Please carefully follow these instructions to transfer RangerMSP to a new server. In case you use RangerMSP with SQL backend, please also review the section related to SQL.

Both - RangerMSP and SQL backend - run well on server 2016. As for MS Server 2019 - although the SQL it is not officially supported yet (RangerMSP itself is), people have been using it successfully, so over all it should be fine to migrate to it, though the server 2016 may be a safer option.
