View Full Version : Urgent, Email Connection not working after upgrade.

Hi Commit.

I just upgraded from version 7 to version 15.
All clients where closed and the CommitServer and CommitWebInterface was stopped on the server.

After the upgrade the Email Connector does not retrieve emails anymore...


This is the CommitCRM ServerConfig Log when I test the POP3 connector (which Completed Successfully)

< +OK The Microsoft Exchange POP3 service is ready.
> USER itmail
< +OK
< +OK User successfully logged on.
> STAT
< +OK 13 180245
> LIST
< +OK 13 180245
> QUIT
< +OK Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 POP3 server signing off.

As you can see, there are 13 emails waiting for download.
I have tried restarting the CommitServer service serveral times.

How can I solve this ?

As per our reply over email - Please restart the hosting server and see whether this helps.

A server restart did the trick.
Maybe you should include that as a part of the upgrade.

Great! Thank you for the update.
It is normally not required, I suspect that upgrading all the way from 7 to 15 might have something to do with it, and yet, normally even in such cases it isn't required. Anyway, good that everything is working as expected now.
