Has anyone been able to integrate itglue and CommitCRM? We currently use spreadsheets in a synced folder for things like client site pics, network information, etc. I'm looking at itglue and looking for feedback on if it's needed or if CommitCRM can do documentation and document storage on the ease of use level of something like itglue.

We use lastpass for our password management, so while I know itglue offers a password management, we don't need to push that functionality on the CommitCRM documentation side of things.

We use SIPortal, and they have some basic integration. CommitCRM has the basic functionality with stuff like docuements, assets, and configuration notes... But SIPortal takes it to a whole new level, and I can't imagine being without it.

IMO, you need more protection around stuff like passwords, etc. I want an audit trail. I want to know its encrypted in the DB. I want 2FA. The feature set of SIPortal is beyond what CommitCRM will be designed to accomodate, I think.

If you didn't notice, I LOVE SIportal. I just gave up ever trying to have one system that does everything. CommitCRM does a GREAT job of ticketing and billing and CRM. Documentation is SIportal's job.

On the flip side, IT Glue is nice too. I would love to know where you end up and what you end up liking better.

You can find more information on their Web site here (http://kb.siportal.com/portal3/kb/#article/?rID=KB&KBID=8&Method=View&Permalink=3F28241D4678604040464E5E6378654F4B4E5055 6979694F333944DBED93C50A75BA548E9137A63B0E9E3979F1 11BDE752782962A98FFBA97D79624BA8F6D0157D)

Looks like contacts and companies, but no asset information.

Doesn't sound very helpful without the assets!

We use SIPortal with CommitCRM, and the sync leaves a lot to be desired. CommitCRM will push basic contact information from itself to SIPortal and thats about it. It isn't really a sync, its just a push. No asset information, so double entry - especially when you are integrated with an RMM tool.

RangerMSP supports Online Services for Assets. So basically this should work for Assets too. We're not sure whether or not SIPortal offers an end point for receiving Assets details, like they do with Contacts. Maybe discuss this with a SIPortal rep and see. This may be very useful.
