How do I run two timers at the same time?

When I start a timer it works but as soon as I start another it stops the old. Only one active time can be on at a time. Is there a way to change it so that both times or a bunch of timers could be active?

Yes, this is a system setting that can be changed to allow multiple timers to run at the same time.

To change this visit Tools > Options > Timers tab.
