Is there any way to collapse the tickets to just the short description?

It just looks a mess with some huge long ticket bodies and other really short ones..

Thank you for posting this.

Under Tools > Options> Web Interface tab you can control the length of memo fields and limit the amount of characters displayed in lists. This will affect Ticket Description as well.
You can define your personal settings and change the settings for Customer Web Users (scroll down the window).

That helps somewhat but it would have been far more sensible to make it as per Tickets-1, "Show just the first line" (The short description).

Or simply have a Ticket Title/Name in addition to Ticket Description as all other ticketing systems have?

Hi Dontech,

Opting for ticking that box in the Ticket-1 options does the job pretty well for us since there is no "Title". (ie shortening the description down so you can read it better).
