Is there a way to do a general search in RangerMSP? We have some text that may be present in a history note / ticket resolution or knowledge base articles.

Yes! Starting with RangerMSP 10 it is possible to perform a "Google-like" search on your entire RangerMSP database and find various records by keywords. See below:

Can we increase the default time period for global search?

It is fixed. For what it is worth - it's larger for SQL based systems, though the number is still fixed. Noted. Thanks for asking.

It has to be a setting somewhere we can change to make it larger.....

3 years later, how do we make the default 90 days?

Since we have SQl and it is "fixed" at 30 days, are non SQL people stuck with only 10 days by default?

Thank you for posting this.

Actually, the default Global Search settings for the SQL mode is now 60 days and for the now-SQL it's now 30 days.

Although this value cannot be changed from the application interface, we have just emailed you a patch that will increase it to 90 days.

Our said something like "searching last 30 days".

Most of our projects are wrapped up in 90 days so this will save us a few mouse clicks, thanks!
