Change Labor Item Type From Unit to Hours

We have lots of items that were originally imported and used as a "per unit" instead of the "per hour" item type and it makes reporting all wonky. Everything is tied to QB so no love making changes (i.e. deleting and re-creating just not an option).


I thought in this new version we could make a change from Unit to Hours on items?

Thank you for posting this.

Once the item was used for the Charges, changing its type from units to hours is not possible as this may cause data inconsistency.

You can remove the link between the item in RangerMSP and QuickBooks, set RangerMSP item as suspended and created new one based on QuickBooks item.
You can also set default type for Labor items imported from QuickBooks to be 'Hours' under Tools > Options > QuickBooks tab.
