Custom Field in Online Services

We have a custom field in our Contracts and would like to use in Online Services but cannot get it to work, how would we define a custom field (not user1,2,etc., a new custom field) for use in Online Services?

Currently the Online Services feature lets you embed system fields in the URLs you construct but not custom fields. We will take a note on your suggestion, thanks for asking.
