View Full Version : Set charges billable after contact hours are used

Doing this manually is very error prone. Is there a way to make a contract default to billable once the hours are exhausted?

It is hard to figure out which charge on which ticket became billable for the rest of the contract.

RangerMSP displays a warning message to the user when adding a Charge that will cause an overage, however, it does not decide by itself whether this overage should or should not be billed.

The problem is people "forget" to mark it billable.

I have seen problems with this as well. We have to run contract reports all the time to ensure that charges are marked as billable when the contract is up. We should, at the very least, have an option on the contract to state 'Charges are billable when contract has been exceeded' That way we can decide the way to handle things from within Commit and not rely on techs to do the work.

Contract module needs some love from engineering! These features are basic PSA level stuff, needed badly.
