I have set up a Global Contract for out annual phone support contracts.

I want to be able to record charges against the contract but I do not want them invoiced. Can I just uncheck the box that says Billable? on the charges tab?

Also, what report can I run that will show me what the customer would have paid without the contract so that we can evaluate the price of our contracts as to if they are profitable?

Yes, you can uncheck the Billable flag. Please note that for other Contract types - Block of Money/Hours/Tickets this flag is unchecked by default, for all charges or for Labor charges - depending on the Contract type. Click the link to learn more how the Billable flag is determined
