We use both of the above products. Most of our techs spend their time in CommitCRM and if customer information needs to be updated it is much quicker and easier to use the CommitCRM search as opposed to the Quickbooks search. However when they update data they need to click on the little QB icon and select "Update linked QB record with CommitCRM data"

Is there a way when account data is updated in CommitCRM it will automatically write data back into QB without having to do it manually? If we in future sync all the data from QB it will overwrite the data inCommitCRM.

Is there a way to run a report (SQL or otherwise) to find out if there are differences in the account data between CommitCRM and QB?

Thanks. JS

Thanks for asking. Automatic customer information syncs to QB are somewhat "dangerous" and therefore they are not currently available. The idea here is that you want to be very careful or in full control when updating customer information in your accounting system. The way you work is much safer though it does require a send update to QuickBooks click when you believe that the relevant information in RangerMSP been updated in a way that should also be reflected in QB.

While a you do not have such a report our coming 6.1 release (currently in Beta, apply) lets you see the basic details of the parallel record (e.g. Customer or Item) in QuickBooks right from within RangerMSP.

Hope this helps.
