When I am working with assets, i use the account filter to see only the assets from the client I am working with.

When I add or update an asset, the screen refreshes and the filter gets removed and I am looking at all assets.

I have to go back and apply the filter each time I update an asset.

Is there a way to make the filter persistent?

What you may try to do is using the Assets tab under an Account to work with Assets at the Account level, and not to filter the main Assets Window for a specific Account. The Asset tab of an Account is automatically filtered to to show only Asset for this Account.

HTH and thanks for asking.

That does work, but I also manage the contracts that way as well.

It is easier for me to see all the contracts at once rather than going account to account.

No wait, that doesn't really solve the problem.

From the asset screen in the account, I can see things, but If i want to edit, I have to double click, then it takes me to the global asset screen. Once I make said change(s), then i have to flip back to the account screen, then double click the next assets and start the process all over.

As I open each asset to edit it also creates a new open asset window.

That is much more work.

Would be nice if the filter in the global asset screen just remained :)

Not a big issue, just an improvement.
