Can anyone let me have some ideas on how I can email goups of accounts from Commit, it is very easy to filter assetts to one particular product if you then wanted to email all the clients with that type of assett, is it possible to create one flyer, announcement email and send it to all the accounts that have been filtered. For instance we supply OKI printers they have a had stock problems due to flooding in Thailand we wanted to send all the clients with an OKI product an email warning them about potential stock shortages.

Thank you for asking. Indeed you can easily filter the list of Assets to display such a list (of all customers that own a specific type of equipment, etc.). However, you cannot mass email this list. What you can do is use the 'Email' button that is found on the Assets Window toolbar. Using it you will be able to email your customer about this specific Asset - the selected record (unlike all at once). When emailing you can select a customized Email Template you created. For example you can create an email letter to customer that tells them about the potential stock shortages, etc. while automatically embedding their names and the details of the Assets in the template.
