View Full Version : Error Synching Appointments

We are using v.5.7.0 - We use the synch our staff's appointmets from CommitCRM to Outlook (via Exchange) - Tools-> Synchronize Outlook -> Sync Other User's Data -> Sync Appointments Only.

This works for a couple of our users appointments, but we get an error message on a few others that reads: "Error synching Appointments, Could not find the Outlook Folder"

We are using SBS 2003, w/ Exchange 2003.

I'm new at this whole thing so any help would be greatly appreciated. - Thanks!!

Hi Dave, thank you for posting this.

When syncing other employees calendars RangerMSP connects to their calendar folder in Exchange to perform the sync. This error message means that for some reason RangerMSP could not access a calendar folder of one or more of the other employees.
In most cases this is related to lack of privileges set for the current Windows user and the other employees Exchange folders.

Please open Outlook, try to navigate to ALL other employees Calendar folders, when you do add an appointment, update it, delete it (this will serve as a privileges test). Once you've done this and configured all privileges to these Exchange folders please try to sync for others again.
