we are setting up sync to an exchange public folder called Company Contacts. The sync works fine except when we make a change to a contact or account in commit, it does not update the contact or account in the public folder, rather it creates a brand new contact and doesn't delete the old one... it doesn't matter what gets updated (phone number, email addy, name, whatever), every time there is a change a new record is created.

It would also be really helpful if CommitCRM would delete the contact or account from the public folder when the contact or account was deleted from CommitCRM... it should maintain an exact copy but it doesn't

RangerMSP stores some syncing meta data on each Contact record. This is how it recognizes the "link" to an existing RangerMSP Contact.
So my guess is that it is either an issue with privileges to the Exchange Contact folder where RangerMSP cannot store this information or that another system cleared all this meta data from the Contacts records in Outlook.

Please use the Help > Technical Support menu in RangerMSP to send us your log files and hopefully we will be able to learn more about it.
